Responsibility:
Work under close supervision and follow established purchasing procedures to process bids and purchase orders, process accounts payables, process travel documentation, and maintain procurement card accounts according to standard accounting procedures and board policy. Ensure compliance with applicable state laws and regulations.
Requirement:
High school diploma or GED and three years clerical and accounting experience.
Knowledge of procedures for basic accounting and procurement of supplies and equipment.
Ability to work with numbers in an accurate and rapid manner; Ability to analyze and organize a complex filing system of bid-related documentation; Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets, databases and do word processing; Proficiency skills in keyboarding and file maintenance; Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Accounts Payable Clerk:
